Terms of Use
Last updated: 4 November 2026
By creating an account or using EduSmartTV you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
The service
EduSmartTV lets a household create a school timetable and show it on a TV through a private link. During the beta, access is by invitation and the service is free. Features may change, and we may pause or end the beta, with notice whenever possible.
Your account
- You must be an adult (18 or older, or the age of majority where you live) to create an account.
- Give accurate information and keep your password safe. You're responsible for what's done with your account.
- Household owners decide who is invited, and can remove members.
Acceptable use
- Use EduSmartTV only for your household's timetables, reminders and study materials.
- Don't upload content that is illegal or offensive, or that you don't have the right to share, including other people's personal data.
- Don't try to access other households, get around the security, or overload the service.
Your content
Your timetable, reminders and files remain yours. You allow us to store and display them only as needed to provide the service to your household and on your TV. You're responsible for who you share your TV link with.
Other companies' TVs and services
EduSmartTV runs in your TV's web browser and, in the future, may use services such as Samsung SmartThings or Amazon Alexa. We don't control those products, and how well they work depends on their makers.
No guarantees
The service is provided “as is”, especially during the beta. We work to keep it available and correct, but we don't guarantee it will always work without interruption or errors. Always check important information (such as times and dates) with the school.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages or damages resulting from the service being unavailable, or from errors in timetables imported or typed in.
Ending use
You can stop using the service and ask for your account to be deleted at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
Applicable law
These terms are governed by Brazilian law. Consumer rights that apply where you live are not affected.
